Parma, 5 October 2023 - Parma Calcio is saddened to hear the news that former player Romano Voltolina has passed away in the last few hours. Everyone at the Club sends its deepest condolances to his friends and family. Voltolina, a winger in his day, was part of our squad in the 1957/1958 Serie B season. He made 15 appearances and scored five goals. He made his Parma debut on 15 September 1957, on the first day of the season, away at Monza against Simmenthal. On 22 September, at Brescia, on matchday 2, he grabbed his first goal for us. He bagged for the first time at the stadio Ennio Tardini on 29 September on his home debut in the 2-0 win over Valdagno Marzotto. A few months later, on 9 March 1958, he got the winning goal after 20 minutes in a tight 1-0 home win over Venezia.
