He was a gifted midfielder, very intelligent and classy combined with a strong physcial presence. He loved creating chances and scoring goals, too. In our shirt, he made 95 appearances and scored 41 goals in three consecutive seasons. For two seasons, he was the Crociati's top scorer (in Serie D in 1969/1970 with 14 goals, and in C1 in 1970/1971 with 19 goals). He often wore the captain's armband, and wore the number 8 shirt.

He made his debut for us in a 2-0 away defeat at Sant’Angelo Lodigiano on 21 September 1969. A week later, he played his first game at the stadio Ennio Tardini against Crema in a 0-0 draw. A month later, he grabbed his first league goal, on 26 October 1969, and got his first league win on matchday 6, beating Sassuolo 1-0. His final game for the Club came at Tardini against Sambenedettese on 11 June 1972, coming on as a sub in the 63rd minute to replace defender Francesco Cappellotto.
