Parma, 14 January 2025 - Parma Calcio are delighted to annonce that Alessandro Vogliacco has joined the Club on loan from Genoa Cricket and Football Club. The Gialloblu will retain an option to make the deal permanent. With two goals in twelves Serie A appearances this season, Alessandro is joining the Gialloblu with a perview to adding his experience and skills that saw him take the captain's armband at Genoa. He began his professional career at Padova in Lega Pro in 2028, before moving to Pordenone, which whom he won Lega Pro and the Supercoppa. He spent two years with the Neroverdi in Serie B, followed by a transfer to Benevento.
He is a courageous leader with a brilliant temperament, which makes him a complete and competitive defender. He played for Italy at youth level, starting out at U15 and playing through the age groups up to U21, with whom he made his debut in a 2-0 win against Ireland on 13 October 2020.
