Antwerp, 20 July 2024 - Midfielder, Antoine Hainaut’s comments following Parma’s victory over Antwerp in the second friendly of Parma’s 2024/25 pre-season campaign. 

“We all upped the levels after the match against Lugano and we put in a great performance together. We won, as we did 30 years ago in the Cup. Now we are working towards our first competitive game in the Coppa Italia against Palermo. These friendlies give us a lot, we work tactically, physically, and we get minutes in our legs doing the things we’ve prepared over the week. We did well today. We’re working at Collecchio, the coach decided this and now we’re in camp for five days with two great games to play. Atalanta? We’re not talking about this match yet, we have other games first. We have to continue to think about the game ahead of us, this is our objective. Serie A? I like the idea of playing in Serie A, I want to stay there and do well. I give everything in every game I play, I want to die on the pitch like my teammates. And I’m enjoying myself at Parma, we’re in Serie A. Even today, there were more than 50 fans, this is amazing. And there are, of course, our 10,000 season-ticket holders, it’s a feeling of great warmth'.
