PARMA’S ARGENTINES 

“Parma is a historic club, many Argentine footballers have passed through here. Argentines are loved here because they won trophies and helped improve the international image of the Club. It's a bit like what happened in Napoli when Diego Maradona joined them. With due proportion, the same thing happened in Parma. Many players, like Almeyda, Veron, Crespo, Sensini, and Ortega, won competitions in this shirt and made an everlasting mark on the club.” 

THE ROLE OF THE GOALKEEPER

“In Europe, goalkeepers are more professional, they pay more attention to the movement of your hands and work more on the technical aspect. The difference between South American and European goalkeepers is that South Americans prepare differently. We have more personality, we grow up in tougher environments, whereas in Europe, there is more specific development for goalkeepers. You only learn this when you come here and put it into practice. If a keeper can come here and learn the movements, combined with the talent he possesses, he can become really strong and competitive.”
