'I've told all my teammates, I am happy because the challenge for which I came here was to bring Parma to Serie A. It's a blessing, a gift from God. Does He know? It's a phrase that has become part of the group, everyone embraced it. I started it, everything that happens, we repeat it, partly for the coach and partly for director Pederzoli who always says when something happens, he knows... The last match? It's a decision I make more for my family than for my physical condition. They need it, it's important for my children, who are twelve and fourteen. They think about school, and they want to return to Spain, to our home. My experience in Italy is coming to an end. Perhaps I'll find a team in Spain. 'Today's game? I knew I was going to play. I had discussed it beforehand with the group. It was a gift from the whole team. I had an injury that lasted for three months, and there were complications. Advice for Serie A? I spoke to the guys; I told them to keep believing in themselves. We have a fantastic group with great individuals, not just great footballers. They're a young team. I'm certain they will do very well in Serie A next year.'
