Parma, 17 February 2024 - Captain, Enrico Delprato’s comments following Parma’s victory over Pisa on Matchday 25 of the Serie BKT Championship. 

“It was beautiful to score like that after conceding the equaliser in the 92nd minute. When you usually imagine scoring a goal at the last second, you imagine it just like that. It’s a beautiful feeling. It’s a shame to have conceded the 2-2 equaliser like that at the end but on the other hand, we were great, as we have already shown on other occasions, to believe in ourselves until the end and secure the victory. My goal? I saw that time was running out, Chichizola made the save and sent it long to Dennis, we were sending players forward so I decided to get forward and it went well. Partipilo did well to play a good ball and Charpentier did well to win it back. Among the others, Nicolas made an excellent save, it was great.

Every match is separate from the next, we have to pay respect to Pisa because when they didn’t have the ball, it was difficult to get past them. We used a lot of energy in the second half and we thought after we’d taken the lead that we had the victory. That wasn’t the case, we needed another goal. However, Pisa showed that they can play well and will take great satisfaction from their performance. We are winning a lot of games in the last minute, it’s a great sign. We had more of the ball in the second half and we secured a very important victory.”
