EIGHT CROCIATI AWAY ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY

Parma, 13 November 2023 Eight Crociati players have been called up by their respective national teams in this November's international break. Players from the first team will be involved in friendlies, 2026 World Cup and Euro 2024 qualifiers, as well as the U20 tournament, “UNAF”. 


Alessandro Circati (Australia)

World Cup 2026 qualification starts for Australia with the group stages: Alessandro Circati is part of the squad list for games against Bangladesh (16 November in Melbourne) and Palestine (21 November in Al Kuwait). Also in the group is Lebanon.


Botond Balogh (Hungary)

Hungary will be looking to extend their lead at the top of Group G for Euro 2024: Botond Balogh has been called up for games with Bulgaria (in Sofia on 16 November) and Montenegro (in Budapest on 19 November), two fixtures that could help the Crociati defender's national team to go further ahead of second-placed Serbia.


Gabriel Charpentier (Congo)

For the Crociati's Congolese striker, two opening 2026 World Cup group qualifiers await: placed in Group E (that also includes Morocco, Tanzania and Niger), Congo will take on Zambia (on the 17th in Ndola) and Eritrea (the 20th in Agadir). After two goals scored this season, Gabriel is back with the national side with the right hunger to undertake this road to the World Cup.


Valentin Mihaila (Romania)

Romania, top of group I in Euro 2024 qualifying, have two difficult tests: they will first play third-placed Israel (in Budapest on 18 November) and then at home, in Bucharest, on 21 November against second-placed Switzerland.

Yordan Osorio (Venezuela)

After impressive work in drawing with Brazil 1-1, Venezuela get their World Cup 2026 qualifying campaign back underway: their first game is in Maturin against Ecuador (16 November), while the second matches sees them in Lima to face Perù (21 November). Venezuela are currently joint second with Uruguay and Brazil, all on seven points, and would like to close the gap on leaders Argentina (12 points).


Martin Turk (Slovenia)

Crociati goalkeeper Martin Turk returns to the international fold: Slovenia, leaders of group H in Euro 2024 qualifying, meet with Denmark, also top on 19 points. The game is set to be played in Copenaghen on 17 November. Their second fixture is against Kazakhstan in Ljubljana on 20 November.


Tjas Begić (Slovenia U21)

A friendly for the wideman:Slovenia's Under 21 side face Turkey in Ljubljana on 17 November.


Anas Haj Mohamed (Tunisia U20)

He will represent Tunisia U20s in a tournament organised by the North African Football Union (UNAF) from 13 to 21 November, where they will face Algeria, Libta and Morocco. Tunisiaare current holders, having won the last four past editions (from 2019 to now).
