THE MAURIZIO MAESTRELLI 2024 AWARD TO FABIO PECCHIA: “THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT FAITH”

Latina, 13 May 2024 - Fabio Pecchia has been awarded the 'Maurizio Maestrelli 2024' prize. In the renovated Gabriele D’Annunzio municipal theatre in Latina, the coach of Parma was presented with the prestigious award by Matteo Villani, a prominent Parma-based long-distance runner. In an evening filled with great emotion, he was recognised for his work over the past two years with our club, both on and off the field.

'After two seasons, one ending bitterly, that bitterness served as impetus for us to tackle this season and its challenges. Now is the time to savour the victory because in football, winning is always complex. When you do win, it's right to enjoy and celebrate. These are gratifying moments to share with our people. I am curious to see how my young players will perform in Serie A. I thank those who considered me for this award because they did so before the end of the season, which means they had great confidence in this Serie B finale', were the words of the Gialloblu coach.
