8 GIALLOBLU ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY

Collecchio, 11 November 2024 - The Serie A Enilive has been put on pause for the international break and 8 of our Gialloblu are heading off to join up with their respective national teams. Simon Sohm is back with Switzerland whilst Giovanni Leoni, after making his Serie A debut, has been called up for the Italy U19s.


  • BOTOND BALOGH

In Group 3 of the Nations League, Botond Balogh will be ready to face the Netherlands in Amsterdam on November 16 with Hungary, aiming for the second spot in the table. Their second game will be against Germany, the group leaders on 10 points, in Budapest on November 19.


  • ANAS HAJ MOHAMED

Anas Haj Mohamed will join the Tunisian senior side as they play away to Madagascar on November 14 in Pretoria, South Africa, ahead of hosting Gambia on November 18. Both games are part of the AFCON qualifiers.


  • MANDELA KEITA

Confirming his spot with the Belgium U21s is midfielder Mandela Keita: two games against Czechia on the cards on the 15 and 19 November, first in Leuven then away.


  • GIOVANNI LEONI

After making his full Serie A debut against Venezia, Giovanni Leoni has been called up for the Italy U19s for the first round of U19 Euro qualifiers. Here is the Azzurrini schedule: Italy vs. Montenegro (November 13, Arkanes, Greece), Italy vs. Bosnia (November 16, Arkanes) and Greece vs. Italy (November 19, Heraklion).

  • DENNIS MAN and VALENTIN MIHAILA

Dennis Man and Valentin Mihaila will join Romania for two home games: the leaders of Group 2 have a maximum points tally after four games and will host Kosovo (second) on November 15 and Cyprus (penultimate) on November 18. Both games will be played in Bucharest.



  • SIMON SOHM

Simon Sohm will be back with the Swiss National Team: the Gialloblu midfielder has been called up for the Nations League games against Serbia (Zurich, November 15) and table-topping Spain (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, November 18).


  • ZION SUZUKI

Zion Suzuki's Japan are set to play two away games on the road to World Cup qualification (they are currently top of Group C with 10 points from four games). They will play Indonesia in Jakarta on November 15 and China in Xiamen on November 19, the sides are joint-last on 3 points.
