Turin, 30 October 2024 - Head Coach Fabio Pecchia shared his thoughts after the Juventus vs. Parma match, on Matchday 10 of the Serie A Enilive 2024/25 season.

'A lot of frustration after this sort of match, where we created a lot of chances. We have to score and then we can see what happens. I have so much faith in this group, we've shown this in this first part of the league campaign. We've played really well in many games, but there have been quite a few times when we've left feeling like we could've got more. We need to win. The road is set and the team identity is clear, but we need to push for the win. Leaving here, after we did so many great things, the performance showed depth and lots of sacrifice because Juve pressured us a lot, but there must be a bit of awareness in all of us, including me, we need to score goals and show some results from our work because otherwise, well, great comments aren't enough to move up in the league. I'm not too satisfied by the result, the initial excitement and then the desire to play and go toe to toe with a strong side in a great atmosphere. We knew we'd have to suffer and do a lot of defensive work, but after a game like this we need to leave with the right frustration. This is because we created a lot of good chances, but we're bringing home too few points. The first half was very open, it was a great game. In the second half, we suffered a bit under Juve's pressure, we defended well but on the counter attacks, finding yourself in these situation, it's annoying. In this first part of the league, the idea is to create a clear identity, to play the matches our way, but there have been too many times in which we have left the field thinking that we could've got a bit more and won. It was almost a bit of a dream, scoring the second goal in Turin with a counter attack, but I want a side that keeps playing like this, that at times will take a risk to go on and go and win the game. Keita? I knew about the Juventus equaliser, with Simon Sohm we not only got the goal but, he had the chance to overturn the play and run of the game. He has different characteristics compared to Keita, we needed that at that moment of time. With Sohm and Hernani we had the ability to do that'.
