Parma, 8 January 2025 – Mathias Johan Fjørtoft Løvik is officially a Gialloblu player: Parma Calcio can confirm that the defender has joined the Club on a permanent deal from Molde Fotballklubb, signing a contract lasting until 30.06.2029.

Having progressed through the youth ranks of the Norwegian club, Mathias quickly became a player of interest for the first team thanks to his work ethic and qualities. A full-back who likes to get forward, Mathias made 110 appearances for Molde FK and scored seven goals across the league and cup competitions. Even though he is just 21 years old, he already has significant experience of playing in Europe having taken to the pitch in all the European Cup competitions (Europa League, Conference League and the qualifying phase of the Champions League). At international level, he has played for Norway at every age level from the U16s to the U21s, scoring once in 32 appearances while continuously making strides forward in his development.
