“We put in a great performance, we had lots of chances to score. Then, in the second half, they scored an incredible goal. We stayed in the game, the result was very positive. Lots of counter-attacks, lots of chances, we knew that Fiorentina were looking for the equaliser. We defended well. Serie A? We’ve been working for a long time with the Coach, we’ve already demonstrated that we can compete with everyone. Now we have to think about the difficult game that awaits us. The red card for Pongracic? After the equaliser, we looked for the winner, we had lots of chances. I can’t say we’re going home happy, we should have won.”
