“I’m very satisfied because Como are a strong side with players in attack who have played in Serie A. We did very well in the first half, even if we could have potentially scored more goals. We were playing the game just like we’d prepared it. Then, the pace of the match slowed down in the second half and we dropped deeper. It seemed like the game was over after we made it 2-0, so credit to Como. I’m delighted for Charpentier, who I sent on at a complicated moment. Beyond the fact that the decision paid off, Gabri has been rewarded for his hard work. He had a difficult time of it last year, but I’m happy because he’s been working with continuity for a few weeks now. He’s someone who can give the squad a competitive boost. The important thing is we’ve won and picked up three points in front of our fans. If we want to maintain our position, we need to show plenty of energy during the week.
