Parma, 4 August 2024 - In an early Serie A taster against Atalanta, Parma, in front of 5,499 fans, won 4-1 at the Tardini in the first of four August home matches. The last friendly of the 2024/25 pre-season coincided with a comprehensive victory over the Europa League champions. A brace from Man and goals from Bonny and Partipilo. The Gialloblu were focused from the start, with the Romanian opening the scoring in the sixth minute after a solo run from right to left, cutting into the box and shooting diagonally. This lead gave Parma hunger, and they doubled their advantage through Bonny with a perfect through-ball from Coulibaly. Lookman pulled one back, but in the second half, a chip and a lovely finish from Partipilo completed the magical and victorious night, even if it was only a friendly. On Sunday, 11 August, at 18:30 CEST, the first official match will take place at the Tardini against Palermo in the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa.
