Lecce, 21 September 2024 - It ends 2-2 between Lecce and Parma, as the Gialloblu were able to mount a comeback in stoppage time from two goals down.
In the first half, Lecce went ahead thanks to a finish from Dorgu in the 32nd minute who slotted it past Suzuki. In the second half the Salentini doubled their lead thanks to a free-kick from Krstovic, after both teams had men sent off (Guilbert and Cancellieri).
Parma’s pressure was rewarded in the final minutes: firstly through the ex-Lecce man Almqvist, finishing from inside the penalty area, then Hainaut, with the last kick of the game, equalising with his head thanks to an assist from Haj (on his Serie A debut).
Next game for Parma is on Monday 30 September 20:45 as they welcome Cagliari to the Tardini.
