Bologna, 13 Ocotber 2024 - A very important win away for Parma in the Emilia Romagna Derby, which takes us six points ahead of Bologna and helps us maintain top sport in the league, level with Ternana.

Bologna started well, creating good chances in the first half and restricting Copetti from having an effect on different occasions. In the second half, the gialloblu got onto the field with a new impetus and scored two decisive goals, both from dead ball situations.

The gialloblù went ahead in the 54th minute, as Danielle Cox converted a header after build up from a corner, scoring her third goal after the goals against San Marino (Coppa Italia) and Pavia (league). After our goal, Bologna tried to go for an equaliser hitting the woodwork, but the pressure for the goal was quickly cancelled out. A few minutes after, the second goal came: Ferrario took a short free kick for Peruzzo who, from the left, crossed across the face of the goal and surprised the keeper with a blistering shot hitting the roof of the net.

The next clash will see Parma take on Lumezzane in Noceto before the international break.
