Big win for Parma who head home from Res Roma with another 3 points. The Gialloblu managed to open the scoring in the hard-fought game before the break thanks to a tap-in from Benedetti, but the equaliser from the hosts just before the break meant it was still all to play for.

Colantuono's squad kept playing after the break right up until DiStefano popped up with a good cross for Di Luzio who did well to guide it into the net.

Ternana and Lazio still sit at the top of the table on 50 points, whilst Parma follows on 43, catching up to Cesena on 46 after their defeat to San Marino, the next opponent to stop by Noceto on Sunday 10 March.
