SERIE BKT, MATCHDAY 11: ASCOLI 1-3 PARMA

Ascoli, 28 October 2023 - Ascoli, one of the most in-form teams in the league right now, were beaten at home by a super performance from Parma to bring home all three points. A 3-1 victory, thanks to Man’s first-half brace and Bernabé’s free-kick in the second half. Caligara found the net after Man’s first but the Romanian quickly restored the lead.

Incredible performance, because the Crociati suffered at a point in the first half, but they showed great strength and courage to hold off Ascoli’s siege. In the second half, Bernabé’s third goal of the season concluded matters, with a thunderous freekick that struck the underside of the crossbar before crossing the line. Wednesday, the second round of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa against Lecce.
