Parma, 28 May 2024 - Parma Calcio announces that the Sport Area will continue its work in the sporting, technical and corporate departments. The Men's First Team Sporting Director Mauro Pederzoli, in office since June 2021, has renewed his professional contract with the Gialloblu. Parma Calcio can also announce that the Head of Scouting, Mamo Notari, has also extended his stay with the Club.

Managing Director Sport, Roel Vaeyens, said: “Our focus has always been on promotion to Serie A, this objective was achieved thanks to the excellent and hard work of the sporting management team, Fabio and his backroom staff, as well as from the scouting department. I am really happy to continue this journey with Mauro and Mamo because the intention has always been to continue together. The department I represent, the Sport Area, has achieved a historic result for the Club in its 110-year anniversary and for this reason there is a real desire to compete at the highest level, and demonstrate the importance of what has been done up to now. Preparations are already under way for the new season because new challenges await us, and we want to be ready and competitive while respecting the philosophy of our Club and our fans.'

Sporting Director, Mauro Pederzoli had this to say: “I have always thought that the pride of being part of this Club is superior to everything else. I’m extremely excited to continue coordinating this working group, which has given me some special feelings. This journey began three years ago, with a team that was able to improve over time, and then established itself and achieved the set goal. Today, our focus is to continue this growth, in a tough and demanding league like Serie A. We are ready to give our best, both from a managerial point of view and on the pitch, and to make our wonderful fans ever more proud.”
