During the event, all of the players were glad to hand out autographs and to take photos with the children who were made very happy by the Gialloblu stars. They also spoke about their experiences at Parma. Giovanni Leoni commented, 'right from the first day here I have been really comfortable and I have really felt the Club's support. This is why I want to keep representing these colours'. The captains Delprato and Ambrosi are leaders both on and off the pitch. Antoine Hainaut stated 'Enrico is a true captain. He doesn't joke around as he is always thinking of work, but he always listens to me when I speak to him'. On the other hand, Giada Pondini said 'Cate is a young woman but with a lot of experience. She was also once my opponent in Serie A and I know her well. For us, she is always someone to go to for inspiration and everyone trusts her both on and off the pitch'.
The younger players commented on the sense of belonging even before making their first team debuts, in particular Elia Plicco and Sara Iardino. The Gialloblu midfielder, who was promoted to Cristian Chivu's first team this year, emphasised that 'being in the first team is a dream come true, and they all welcomed me so nicely. Simon Sohm is my inspiration, and I try to copy what he does'. The Women's Primavera forward commented, 'being with the first-team girls is great but I play for the Primavera'.
There was also time to reiterate that football is for everyone. 'I have two brothers, but I'm the only one in the family who plays football', Iris Rabot said, smiling. And, at the end of the Meet & Greet, she said, 'tomorrow we are playing in Noceto against Bologna, at 14:30 CET and it's free entry. Come and support us everyone!'.
