Parma, 7 August 2023 – Parma Calcio would like to wish a heartfelt thank you to the Elche Club de Fútbol for their hospitality, warm welcome, organisation and cordiality. It was our Club’s first appearance at the Festa d’Elx, which is a celebration for the Spanish city. We and our team were warmly welcomed and, for that, we wish to applaud the values, with which Elche CF operates.

Before the game, our Managing Director Sport Roel Vaeyens, Team Manager Alessio Cracolici, and his assistant Riccardo Gatto met with Elche’s owner, Christian Bragarnik, as well as the club’s President, Joaquin Buitrago, and CEO, Pedro Schnicca, who treated our delegation to local ilicitano delicacies.

The game, both before and during, was a festival of football in front of 12,207 spectators. There were exhibitions of traditional dances and an incredible atmosphere. It was an evening that ended well for our Club and team, who won the Festa d’Elx Trophy for the first time in Parma’s 100-year history.
