Noceto, 23 March 2025 - Parma beat Res Roma Women with a clean 5-0 win, reacting to Ternana's victory, and holding onto top spot. The Gialloblu were in complete control throughout the match and Ferin in particular put in a standout performance (brace), with the other goals coming from Ambrosi, Distefano and Sara Iardino, which was the first for our 2006 born player.
Conlantuono's squad started the game well, with a high tempo, and after just three minutes, Zazzera chested it down for Ferin, who shot on goal, forcing the first save from keeper Zaghini. In the 4th minute, Distefano posed a threat with a powerful shot, but it was once again pushed away. It was in the 14th minute that the Gialloblu got in front: Distefano put in a great delivery from the left-wing, finding Ferin who found the back of the net. We kept pushing and just a few minutes later, Ferin got forward again, finding Lonati in the area, but her first-time strike hit the post. Res Women tried to react but it was Parma who had all the best chances and in the 42nd minute, we doubled our lead: the opposition's defence lost the ball and Difestano siezed the opportunity, slotting it into the corner with an ice cold finish. 2-0 at half time.
After the break, the home side continued attacking. In the 62nd minute, Lonati cut in on the right and shot, Zaghini blocked, and Benedetti tried on the rebound, but the keeper cleared it to safety. Two minutes later, in the 64th minute, there was a fumble in the area following a corner: Pondini shot, it was blocked but Ambrosi reacted and slotted home from inside the six-yard box. Res Women pushed on, looking for a goal, but it was Parma who struck again in the 79th. Lonatti sent the defender, leaving Ferin through on goal, who beat the keeper brilliantly in a one-v-one, sealing her brace. The 2006 born Sata Iardino got her first goal in the last minute: a rebounded effort fell nicely to her, which she controlled and curled into the corner. 5-0, a Parma party!
