On matchday 16 in the Women's Serie B 23/24, Parma lost 3-1 at Cesena. After this result, Colantuono's side slip down to 4th place in the table, six points behind leaders Ternana and Lazio, and three from Cesena.
Everything happened in the first half: inside eight minutes, the home side took a quick two-goal lead. Parma hit back immediately to reduce the deficit thanks to Ambrosi converting from the penalty sport on 14'. Soon after, though, Cesena grabbed their third to end the scoring and make it 3-1.
After the break, Parma pressured and threw everything they had, but couldn't find another goal to give themselves hope of a comeback.
