'I’ve worked hard this summer, and it’s clearly paying off on the pitch as I feel in great shape. We need to keep this momentum going.

My position? Whether I play on the right or left doesn’t matter, I just need to stay very focused. That’s what’s most important to me.

The assist to Man? I saw Dennis making a run into space, and there was a big gap, so I decided to play the ball there. It turned out well, and Dennis scored a fantastic goal. It means I made the right choice.

Our preparation? It’s going well. We’re working hard as a team and staying focused, which is all that matters.

An important evening? There were a lot of fans, which is great for us because we play football to experience these moments. We need to be ready for similar atmospheres in Serie A.

Mertens and Icardi, great champions? On the pitch, we’re all equal; it doesn’t matter who we’re up against. They’re great players, but we focus on our own game and stay concentrated on that.

My thoughts on Serie A? I’m very eager to start playing in it. It will be a highly competitive and exciting league with many strong teams, and I can’t wait to get started'.
