Domenico Morfeo

A highly talented playmaker capable of conjuring up moments of magic, he joined Parma as the Club’s new No.10 in 2003 after experiences with various Italian sides.

His best year in Gialloblù colours came in the season which ended with Parma’s two-legged relegation play-off decider against derby rivals Bologna, from which the Crociati emerged victorious. Thanks to the eight goals he scored and the wonderful assists he provided for his attacking partner Gilardino, he helped the team unexpectedly avoid the drop.

The next three seasons saw him play fewer games and score fewer goals, but he still managed to entertain the Parma faithful when out on the pitch.
