Luca Bucci came through Parma’s youth ranks and made his first-team debut in Serie B during the 1986/87 campaign. Despite playing for a number of sides over the course of his career, he spent the most seasons at Parma, twelve in fact. While at the Ducali, he won the UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup. Thanks to his impressive performances, he was also named in Arrigo Sacchi’s squad for the 1994 World Cup in the USA, where he worked with his former coach again.

After his playing career had come to an end, he was Parma’s goalkeeping coach for four years.
